Working with production designer Jean-Paul Leonard of Company Wide Shut,
we created some visual effects composites and a short opening titles sequence
for STUCK, an AFI film directed by Martin W. Andersen.
For these shots, the film was transferred to full range DPX sequences, then
stabilized and composited in After Effects. AE renders were delivered to the
editor as raw full range DPX sequences which appear washed out. Final color
correction was done during the finishing of the film.
The hole in the warehouse floor is a prop fabricated by Jean-Paul. The prop was
used for the inside the hole shots with a full enclosure built around it and
styrofoam treated to look like dirt. Later, it was shot from above for the bird's eye
perspective of the warehouse floor.
The shot from inside the hole required some work removing a visible set pieces
around the edge of the prop and repairing a small piece of the ceiling that was
